There are two ways to add paint to a lapel pin. Hard enamel and soft enamel. 

This process has one extra step to buff the extra paint off before finishing. They cost about 40% more than soft enamel.

Is there a good reason to use hard enamel?

Yes. We find that customers who require a more formal looking lapel pin, appreciate this finish. Examples include years service awards, police uniform pins and for necklace pendants.

Do you sell Cloisonné lapel pins?

No. But most people who claim they sell Cloisonné, are actually selling you hard enamel.

Does hard enamel cost more than soft enamel?
